Moen 2551 M-Pact Posi-Temp® with Diverter 1/2" CC IPS Connection Includes Pressure Balancing

Moen 2551 is an M-Pact Posi-Temp pressure-balancing rough-in valve with diverter and 1/2 in. CC/IPS connections.

Posi-Temp is a pressure-balancing valve: it responds to pressure changes in the hot or cold supply, for example when a toilet is flushed, to help keep the shower temperature steady. The built-in diverter switches water between tub and shower.

M-PACT is Moen's rough-in valve platform: the valve stays in the wall while the trim is chosen separately, so confirm the trim you pick is listed for M-PACT Posi-Temp valves. The 1/2 in. CC/IPS connections let the valve be sweated to copper (CC) or threaded to iron pipe size (IPS) fittings.
