Moen 62360 is an M-Pact Posi-Temp tub and shower rough-in valve with crimp PEX/CC connections and stops.

Posi-Temp is a pressure-balancing valve: it responds to pressure changes in the hot or cold supply, for example when a toilet is flushed, to help keep the shower temperature steady. M-PACT is Moen's rough-in valve platform: the valve stays in the wall while the trim is chosen separately, so confirm the trim you pick is listed for M-PACT Posi-Temp valves.

Crimp PEX connections are made with copper crimp rings and a crimp tool, while the CC connections are copper sweat. Integral stops let the water be shut off at the valve for cartridge service without turning off the supply to the whole house.
