Moen 62390 is an M-Pact Posi-Temp tub and shower valve with IPS connections, in bulk packaging.

Posi-Temp is a pressure-balancing valve: it responds to pressure changes in the hot or cold supply, for example when a toilet is flushed, to help keep the shower temperature steady. M-PACT is Moen's rough-in valve platform: the valve stays in the wall while the trim is chosen separately, so confirm the trim you pick is listed for M-PACT Posi-Temp valves.

IPS (iron pipe size) connections are threaded, so they work with threaded adapters on copper, PEX or steel piping. The bulk packaging suits builders and plumbers roughing in several bathrooms on one project.
