Oatey 38540 is a Quadtro, 1/4 Turn, Copper, Hammer Arrestors, Washing Machine Outlet Box - Standard Pack.

It is an Oatey Quadtro washing machine box that mounts in the wall to house the supply valve connection and drain in a neat recessed box behind the appliance or fixture, so supply lines can be connected and shut off without pulling the fixture far from the wall. It includes hammer arrestor protection to help reduce water hammer when valves close quickly.

When choosing a box, match the inlet connection to the supply piping (copper, CPVC, F1807 crimp PEX, F1960 expansion PEX or push connect, as listed in the title), check the valve type and number of valves, and confirm the pack size you need for the job.
