Description
Replacement actuator motor for Resideo (Honeywell Home) V8043 and V8044 zone valves. When the motor in the valve fails, this part swaps onto the valve body that is already in the piping — the connections stay soldered or threaded in place and the system does not have to be drained.
Replacing the head instead of the whole valve is the difference between a fifteen-minute service call and a soldering job on a live heating system. It is the reason the V-series has stayed in the field as long as it has.
Confirm whether your valve is wired for pump start before ordering. A valve whose end-switch contacts are landed on the boiler needs a replacement head that carries the end switch; this one is specified without it.
